Hi peanut. Generally the systemic weedkillers are supposed to be safe for animals, but I would not recommend exposing any animal to any weedkiller. I suppose I am a bit too careful when it comes to poisons.

It may pay you to also post this in Home & Garden, these green fingered folks would know more about this subject.
