Hi, We have a problem with a jelly like substance floating on the top of our pond, it has nothing to do with frogspawn as it would take a thousand frogs to make that much jelly. The water is totally clear and we do not have a problem with blanket weed etc. The pond is 8yrs old and we have never had this problem before, it has been going on for a few weeks now and we have filled numerous buckets of the stuff, it is dark green and very slimy. Afraid to switch on filters and UV light in case it damages them. Any help would be appreciated.
