what sort of oil? Oil mixes with oil so if you can't get vet advice rubbing something like cooking oil into the coat, then wipe as much and you can out then bath again.
your cat has a cat?
Google getting oil out of cats coat - there are a number of suggestions, but I must admit that if it were any of my cats, I would ring the vet. As woof says, if you don't know exactly what it is, you need to take care - otherwise the cat will try to lick itself clean and it could be risky to ingest too much.
If you cannot get it out or get to the vets, please, please make sure she does not lick it or she could be poisoned, hard I know but vital.

Thanks for your suggestions it was when she was out so I am presuming car oil. Like I said the majority is now out and I will take her to the vet
The vet might give her a vitamin injection just to give her a boost in case she has ingested any while grooming herself, and you should keep cleaning her till you get it all out. My cat swam in turps a few years back and it was a good few days and many baths before it was all gone, but he was none the worse for wear afterwards.
ditto what woofgang says-- my dog picked up thick black oil from the beach (from ship that had discarged its tanks). I smotherd it with lard-rubbed it well in- washed it out with washup liquid. Hey presto one oil free dog
