Rabbits would also fit this discription as they have difficulty running directly down hills, as do Hares presumably.

Jansy beat me to it with the cat!  There was one stuck up my tree & just as I was starting to worry about it I saw it very, very slowly coming down backwards!

A cow. They can climb upstairs but their legs are so designed that they can't come back downstairs again. Although what are you doing taking a cow upstairs anyway?
