I'm always amazed how many people throw sticks, two people i know their dogs had awful injurys leaving splinters embeded in their throat.
My first dog had a rugby ball that he played with when we were out - he loved it.
I am still amazed at the amount of people you see throwing sticks for dogs, and likewise those that throw small tennis balls for large dogs.

Max is quite happy on his walks doing the usually doggy things but if I thro something for him to chase he just looks as if to say "You threw it you can fetch it" Even as a pup any thing I threw for him was ignored unless we were at home when he would put the offending toy in his basket and forget about it, Tug of War was a different matter he couldn't get enough and even now he always has his knotted rope which he carries around looking for victims to play with him

Eddie51, so pleased this has got through to at least one person, it was worth posting if it alerts just one person to the dangers. Its like giving dogs chocolate, you might get away with it foryears, but why take the risk when you know it can be dangerous? Hope he enjoys his rubber bone throwing.
