we have a goose that has not and does not seem to want to migrate, we live in south dakota by a lake. my question is will it survive the winter or who could we contact to come and take the goose to be safe

There are a number of honkers in the Fergus Falls, MN area that don't migrate.  If your lake remains partially open and if enough natural feed remains open it should survive... you could call the SD Game Commission for further advice...
