Feel badly today, we have had a mouse running riot in my kitchen for over a week now and finally we caught him in a trap overnight. I don't like taking life from any creature, but this little bug...r really has caused havoc in my larder, leaving his calling cards all over the place ,plus the fact I really am quite scared by these creatures and my kitchen has been a no go area for me a lot of the time..my 18 year old cat has been no help whatsoever and it was probably him who brought the mouse into the house in the first place . We had got the mouse caught in a towell, and was taking him outside into the garden but my Grandaughter wanted to have a look at him, then he jumped for freedom.

I congratulate for caring about the mouse. Most people see them as pests and think nothing of killing them.

Maybe have a chat the the cat and explain his job in the household. My two wouldn't know what a mouse was unless it ran up to them.

I hope the wee furrie got away home okay.

I use an humane trap which keeps them alive I then take them a ride in the car to release them more than a mle from my home.
How lovely to hear from someone who doesn't want to take the life of a little mouse,we have a humane trap as well,I'm terrified of them but could never hurt one, good on you.
Love animals, hate mice!! just kill the little *******! Have you any idea the decease then can transport - never mind the fleas?!?!!? We had to get cats because of the mice round here.

In the middle of the night when the cats bring them into the house to play with, I've now got no worries about getting up from bed and going to kill the wee *******! Put the clock back 10 years and I would have run a mile from 1!

Would you think twice about killing a fly?? NO! Do you want a fly walking over the food you are about to eat? NO! So why would you feel bad about killin a mouse that has probably ****** over ALL your dishes etc, that you eat off??

Maybe your cat brought it in, but then again, maybe they have their own route into your house, = ever thought about that?? So do you want all 'their' mates following?? Don't think so. never mind the humane crap - - kill it!!
Beauj... your application to join the Mickey Mouse Club has been denied...
Lol at snags, I used to enjoy seeing the little creatures snacking on the bird feeders at night but they are now increasing in number, I'm worried about them coming into the house and much as I don't like it I will have to do something to get rid of the little varmits!
