My yorkie is only sweet and loving first thing in the morning.  Is that normal?  During the day i have to make her let me hold her.  she acts like she is just to busy for me.  I thought yorkies were always wanting to be with their owners.  The only time she acts happy to see me is if I leave for a while.  Is it because she is still a puppy?  Will she get more loving?

As she gets older she will not want to be on the go all the time.  Puppies seem to split their day between bouts of enormous energy and then sleeping, just like a human toddler.    She sounds very healthy and happy.

I am sure as she gets older she will want to cuddle up with you more often.

Enjoy her!

She is too busy protecting you at the moment. As she gets older she will become more loving, it's just the way smal dogs are. Bigger dogs such as labs tend to be more loving from the start.
