In so many ways things have changed for the better. We tend to forget! I don't think we can blame royalty for taking part it these terrible hunts - like many others back then, they considered it normal. I should think that the Queen and Prince Philip look back with great regret on all this. Perhaps that's why Philip was happy to be President of the with the WWF - a chance to make amends.
