we have 6 golden orfes in 4ft tank here at home and the last few days we have had 2 fish die on us one fish looked as if it had died a while ago but only noticed this. the other golden orfes seem to stay at one end of the tank i have other fish goldfish and the goldfish are fine in the tank. but the golden orfes are not feeding and looking very thin. can anyone help please. update found another golden orfe with balance problems and have isolated it from the tank.

Do a water test. you can get a test kit from any good pet shop. This will tell yiu if there are any harmfull levels of amonia and nitrates in the water.
My parents had golden orfe in their garden pond and during the summer they often 'jumped out'. The reason for this, they we told, was a lack of oxygen in the water due to the hot weather. I'd go with the suggestion from londondave, and but also have a chat with the aquatic staff. They should be able to advice you.
