Are you sure it isnt grass?? Cats do eat grass. Usually they vomit it up but sometimes it doea pass through with the poo.

hi there, yes i tend to agree with Brinjal, it maybe grass that your cat has eaten or it could be fur? i have a long haired cat whose poo often contains 'black looking grass' & it's just fur - coming out this way rather than a fur ball.
