I've heard of it being done with geese, but not ducks......why would you want to?
My sister rescued a duckling once and half-housetrained it. It would tend to go in a litter tray/artificial pond but not always. We still resorted to nappies made of napkins and sellotape when it was in the lounge. They certainly learn because it would know where to go for food and could identify my sister in a group and go to her
The difficulty is that both of those behaviours are part of being a duck, whereas ducks do not exhibit latrine behaviour in the wild. Most animals that can be housetrained do.
