can a female cat menstruate when it is spayed

Nope .... at least I am presuming they don't cos both females I have had that were spayed never showed signs of this!! In cats, when they spay a female they remove the uterus ... so it is the same as a human hysterectomy. And in those cases too menstruation also ceases. Hope this helps. xxxx
