My 9 month old puppies appears to be preggers. She escaped from my sisters 4 weeks ago, and been with me since, they got her back, She had her season 2 weeks before escaping, her nipples are really pronoced, and she seems to be off her food, I do not want to feel silly, when taking her to the vets and she is not. If she is, will she be okay, she is a Jack Russell cross King Charles Spaniel Zoe MK 06/09/04

Take it to the vets.
Yes, please take her to the vets. They won't think you're silly, whether she is or isn't pregnant - better safe than sorry.
Please take her to the vets. Then even if she's not pregnant the vet can check her out. An animal being off its food usually means that something is not right.
And as you don't know who the 'Dad' is (could be much bigger than she is)...and because your dog is quite tiny, the pups may be too big to be delivered normally, so it's important to have the pregnancy monitored.
defo take her to the vets. my CKC had jack russell x pups last year (we didn't know she was pregnant when we bought her!) and ended up having a caesarian although i think that had more to do with a severe heart murmur than the puppies were too big but better safe than sorry. also, from about now, she would need to be eating more food anyway so it's best to know. our baby was eating stuff out of the bin cos we didn't know she was preggers so didn't know she needed more food. even the vet told us it was a phantom pregnancy TWICE but then about 2 weeks before the birth we saw and felt the blighters kicking! hope you get on alright!
