i've already got a boy staffy which he is 9 and a half moths know, my partner has just bought another boy staffy puppy, do you think im going to have problems with as i want to keep the oldest one dominent but he's going to be neutered, what do i do for future reference

I do know, however, that dogs develop their own dominance order-so it might be that even though your partner's new pup is younger, it turns out that he is dominant! I am told it is unwise to try and interfere with this. Why are you keen for yours to retain dominance?
Two boy dogs, especially of such a stubborn breed, might be inclined to fight though, and you will have to really watch them together.
Give them both a cuddle from me, I do love SBTs :)

Agree with leelapops, but would add that I would have both boys neutered as soon as possible, to try to prevent any aggressive behaviour from developing, as two males of any breed can become difficult with each other, but as they are Staffs then you are certainly going to have your work cut out.

My partner's mother has three Staffs. 2 males and a bitch. The bitch does rule the roost and at times, will cause a spat to keep the two boys in line.
The two dogs were brought into the home separately and they are now like brothers, they adore each other and look very cute when they are snuggled up together, there is rarely any trouble, unless the bitch starts it.
