Not that I'd have it any other way...

Thought it'd be nice, especially for newer people to let us know about their babies and share some cute and funny stories :)

Ok, I'll start.

Only have a flat at the moment so just have Mojo the hamster aka Fluffy as he's like a little white fluffy polar bear.

I chat to him all the time and have to say hello and goodbye to him when I come in and go out.

Found out last night he like shis tummy tickled :) He does random gymnastics while biting his bars, loves choc drop treats, digging in his sandpit, bonio (good for his teeth) and getting lots of attention.
me and mr mad are well and truely twisted round the paws of our two cats, margo will lie on her back, belly in the air mewing until you give it a good rub, and cupar just has to look at me and i melt and let him sit on my bit of the sofa. you'll have to pay my post "calling all cat lovers" a visit for other tales of cats i have known and loved.
Pickles (my Bedlington Terrier) is definitely my baby!! She has a sleep on a blanket on my bed every night and then gets CARRIED downstairs to be put into her bed in the kitchen.

Soppy, me? You bet!!
Hello Jenna , I'm not new really but I have a dog ....does she rule the house .....no , she is very considerate of my lifestyle , and is a very lovely companion to have , I love her to bits. :-) xxx
Hi Jenna! What a lovely idea! It will be great to read all the tales!!

I will be back with you in the morn as I am just cooking dinner at the mo, with a glass of wine to hand!! Pup and I are enjoying the evening sunshine (inbetween the cooking!) Im sure I will have some tales to tell re my pup!!!

Also have a white mega fluffy hammy called fluff!! (She looks like a mini polar bear also!!).

Bailey is the other hammy - golden brown and with the biggest ears i have ever seen!!! If he was a darker
colour I would have said he was a bat!!! Ho hum!!!

They are both lovely and very sweet natured.

Ok, got to go now before I burn the dinner yet again!!!

Catch up with you tomorrow. :o)

Look forward to it :) I thought it'd be nice to have a nice question everyone can take part in after the troll invasions of late.

Awww, I had a rat called Bailey, so intelligent.

I can't wait to have some proper space for more pets but I'm in a flat so it's not fair.

We will rescue a cat first, maybe a couple as we work too long hours to have a dog. I'd love a huskie but I would want to rescue a dog rather than buy one.

I'm sure I will end up with my own little menagerie :)

Have a lovely evening to you al all :)

oh jenna i agree a good animal thread that we can all enjoy, and have a chuckle at. :-)))
Lovely idea - I like to hear about other people's pets. Do mine rule the house? You bet they do! I have written about some of my cats on the other thread madaboutcats mentioned so won't repeat them but mine tell me when to get up in the morning (usually about 4am) Flossie has a definite "Feed me" miaow and once she starts she doesn't pause for breath. Poor Daisie was off to the vet today for the first time in 10 years as she's hurt her leg and I wanted to be sure it wasn't broken. Fortunately only bruised but she can't put her weight on one of her back legs at present.
Even my son's bearded dragon has a definite character - I have never had much to do with lizards before but he's a real little sweetie.
My guinea pig, Steve, is probably the most undemanding of pets - he's just cute and cuddly.

Bless, Steve the guinea pig, what a cute name!

I've had hamster called Dennis and Dexter.

One of my mum's cats who passed away last year used to stalk the milkman. He used to sit in his milk float and refuse to get out, he wasn't the kind of cat you'd want to make get out either :)
Hi Jenna I have three cats as you can imagine they rule the roost in our house, fed on demand, stroked on demand and have the settee when they want and lay where they want. One goes to bed and sleeps with us, the other two stay on guard on the landing [my cats are in at night] I once lost a dear old pal to a traffic accident at night so ever since have been neurotic and have never let my cats out at night, mind you only two go out a bit in the daytime, they are old gents now and prefer the home comforts. My two dogs are not nearly demanding as the cats, as long as they get their walkies, treats, and good grub they are content mind you at 15 1/2 years old they too like home comforts they are brother and sister. The other pets are Iggy and Wiggy both are g/pigs and are dear little souls not very demanding at all as with most animals..good food, stimulation, clean conditions and plenty of tlc which is must and you have some happy pals don't you think.g.
lol Jenna - knowing cats like I do I can well imagine one stalking someone. They can be the most bl00dy minded of animals when they like!
