Litter.
A large amount of pigs is called a herd just as cows are, but bravejordy is right as well, if a sow gives birth then her piglets are called a litter.

Here in the U.S., a group of pigs, (not piglets) can be called, variously, a Drift, Drove, or Sounder, (the latter used primarily in the southern states)...
A scratching of pigs (as in pork!).
You can also have a 'doylt' but I would plump for litter.
As a person who looks after pigs is called a swineherd then isn't it a herd of swine? AKA pigs.
Most people use the term 'herd'.

A litter of piglets is the same as a litter of kittens or puppies - all born at the same time from the same mother.

Pigs in a pen together could simply be called a group of pigs or a pen of pigs!
