I'm thinking about what I want to study and I decided that I want to travel around Africa and Asia studying and teaching and helping lions, tigers and other wildlife. I want to do the same thing people on African wildlife documentaries do, like Saba Douglas-Hamilton. You know. when those people in the African wilderness and Asian jungles are on a 4 wheel drive car and they are talking about a lion or tiger behind them. What is the name of this study? Is it Zoology or something else?

Countries have strict rules about who they allow to study their wildlife. Studying wildlife is inherently expensive. Unless you are rich, you'll need to be sponsored or receive a grant. You'd most likely get this if you have a degree in zoology and have specialised in the species concerned. Wildlife study is not the glamour job as portrayed in documentaries, driving around in a 4-wheel drive is only a small part of it. It is hard work and sometimes dangerous. If this is your desire then by all means go for it, but be prepared for some disappoinments.
