hi the average life for a guinea pig is about 5 years, but that will depend on how its kept and what diet it has. i rescue bunnies and guineas and my oldest piggy is about 7 years old we call him old major and is quite happy living with his 2 girls even though he hasnt been done hes never tried it on with them. but i did have one that lived to just past nine.

im looking for a new breed thats not in this country yet and they are the size of a mini lopped rabbit
Yes , we used to have one and was told 5 years on average , he lived to 7 too .

yeah i think the lifespan of most pets has increesed now because of the foods improving. what i do is twice a week is give them human vit tablets in their water too. they love the flavoured ones too.
also if a piggy has a stroke you can give them human metatone, my vet told me this, he also gave me tips on when they get bad skin, saved me alot of money
