6 dogs in 1 bedroom bungelow

I am very worried about these dogs there are 6 large dogs all of which look thin and old,they have just moved in and it seems that the owners pop round and let them out for roughly 20 min 3 times a day.They have just let this bungelow its owned by the council and is VERY SMALL dont want to cause any trouble but am worried about the dogs looking so malnurished and being alone all day any ideas?

Have you got a local Dog Warden ?
The RSPCA are sometimes as much use as a chocolate teapot . If they think the dogs have food and shelter and are not being mistreated they won't do much . Though to leave dogs shut up all day with no company is mistreatment in my book .
If the bungalow is owned by the local council report your concerns to them .They can put you in touch with the Dog Warden and he will investigate .

It may be that they thin because they are very old. When my two dogs were very old they slept most of the time and exercise became impossible (although it would be unusual for six dogs to all be at the same stage).

Perhaps you could actually approach them when you see them, introduce yourself and say you love dogs and notice that they have several. Try and strike up a conversation with them in a friendly way and see what transpires.

They dont look very approachable and they dogs are all big so dont think they are rescue but why would you rescue 6 dog then take a 1 bedroom older persons bungelow?.We dont have a local dog warden (he got the sack but that another story).Might leave it a few days and see what happens mmm will sleep on it.
People do funny things herbie. I actually know a couple who run a bona fide animal rescue charity from their two bedroom terraced bungalow and have nine dogs and several rescued cats that live in it with them (these are animals that cannot be rehomed for health reasons). The place is covered in dog hairs and is actually not very savoury, but these people have hearts of gold!!!
I do appreciate that a council bungalow is a different kettle of fish from a private bungalow though. I think you have to do a bit of private investigation before you notify the authorities.

When there out they barl like mad my freind live near them and is trying to keep an eye on them but she is the only 1 that can actually see into the garden i told her to try and take some pics but she was caught looking out of the window at them and now she fees a bit intimidatedshe is on her own there.Ithink maybe the council is the way forward but from my experiance they are pretty useless.
Please be cautious about reporting them, as they may end up having to be rehomed or put down. If they are being seen to three times a day then they are obviously cared for, and they may be the type of dogs that don't carry a lot of weight such as lurchers or greyhounds.
I have a neighbour who has reported me to the RSPCA three times for 'abandoning' my dogs, he does not know when I come and go and the RSPCA inspector has been out three times and said there is absolutely no welfare issue. I am not a big fan of the RSPCA but he is only doing his job and has to follow up any complaints. It has got so bad I have reported this person to the police for harrassment and threatening behaviour (he threatened to kick my door in and let the dogs out). I too have several oldies who sleep most of the time, although they all enjoy their runs over a huge airfield several times a week.
Keep an eye on them and try to find out a bit more before you report them to anyone.
