Epson printer prints red background.

I run Windows XP Home very succesfully with IOLO System Mechanic Pro + Virus Checker + Firewall.
Some of my print outs in Internet Explorer have a bright red background, and some of the 'Email print outs have the same. In Outlook Express one can choose 'blank' But that does not seem to alter from the red back ground. Any ideas, please?
