Don't be frightened of phoning the bar council - they are very helpful.

Reading the letter on Zacmasters link, I would say its written in Nigerian English.
If your question refers to Maxwell Effenberg, then I received the same note. English structure seemed stilted for a barrister.
No counsel would style himself or sign 'Barrister Kenneth Tyler", as Mr Tyler did in the letter in the link (He might put "Kenneth Tyler, barrister")

That should tell you enough!

I have just had the same letter concerning Engr. Maxwell Effenberg
I am lookinmg for him too. I keep getting these e-mails from them saying i am in some will for 13.1 million. from what I have reserched, they(he) don,t exist.
Hello from the States...got the same email this morning and was, let's say, just a little sceptical? Boy, if it were only that easy, huh?
I received an email from them stating that I was a receiver in the will from a dead guy! Did they tell you the same thing?
I got an e-mail from this person saying that I needed to contact them regarding money that someone left me in their will.
Hi I have been researching this also as i recieved serveral mails.
There is no such company and the person mentioned in the mail you recieved does not exist neither does the Institute of Electronic and Electrical Engineers!!!! The tittle dosent even make sense.
The best thing to do is not to even open the mails they are just another fake scam trying to buy you in and rob you.
delete the messages as soon as you get them and if they persist report it to the criminal law bureau.
Regards

Clare
he left me one to he say that I was left millions
