I am looking after my sister's kid's fish and have a kitten! I decided after posting my original question on here about covering the tank up that it would be best to move it from the kitchen where the cat is locked up on a night. So I have done this on an evening and this morning I came downstairs and the fish is laying dead on the floor!! After nearly having heart failure I studied it and there was nothing wrong with it (apart from it being dead) Could it have jumped out of the tank? There was only a few minutes last night that the cat could possibly have access to it and he was outside at the time so I fail to see how he could have got to it. Surely if it was the cat the fish would have been ripped?
