The last time I counted there were 125,000 per square inch... give or take one or two. All you now need to do is measure the area of your cat's fur and start multiplying. I hope you have a big calculator.
Its actually just one long hair that comes out and goes back in again.If you pull slowly you can unravel your cat.
However they are a ****** to get back in again.I am not a vet.
