cats sneezing

our 2 cats (who were adopted from the Blue Cross last week) have been sneezing a little, should I be concerned and what should we do?

They are due to go in on the 27th for there 2nd lot of boosters.

Are they 'indoor' cats?

If so - look to things like plug in air sprays or Shake and Vac on your carpets.

Chances are they are adjusting to their new home.

If the problem persists more than three or four more days, or if they develop weepy eyes and runny noses, get them down to the vet to be checked out.

thanks I have got 2 plug in air fresheners - maybe thats the cause

One of mine has been sneezing a lot over the last couple of weeks. She spends a lot of time outdoors so I put it down to hay fever as there have been no other symptoms. They can get irritants in their nasal passages so the air fresheners could be the problem

its calmed down a bit I've turned off plug in air fresheners and stopped putting kitty litter fresherner powder on - still waiting to see if this is the cause

dont put off getting their boosters done. The vet will ck them out when they get their boosters - heart, eyes, nose, lungs, temperature, etc before giving them their boosters - make sure the vet cks those things. but if they are not well they will need to be treated before their boosters. hope they are better
