I know i could just post this at the end of the last thread, but that is soon to disapear of the bottom of the page...

Unfortunately we lost one today, it was a healthy one 2, a little ginger kitten. K.c had lay on it in her sleep, the vets found it and did everything they could to try & resucitate it
but it was too late.

The rest are now back at home, we have antibiotics to give the one with the worst leg to prevent any infection that could appear.

Dear Wiggal i am so sorry to hear you lost one of your little ones but i would like to wish K.c and her little ones all the love in the world and a happy bright future love megan07
Ahhhh...I'm so sorry to hear that. I will be thinking of K.c and her other little ones and hope all goes well. Sadly it happens and sometimes the mother does it from instinct knowing something we dont. Just sounds like little mama is inexperienced. Good luck and much kitty love.

And a further update,

We have lost a 2nd due to 'fading kitten' as its apparently known.
Woke up this morning and it wasnt well at all, took it straight to the vets and they put it on oxygen & fluid, apparently it did well, and then relapsed and they couldnt do any more.
So sorry to hear your sad news wiggal, just as life was beginning its so sad and upsetting.thinking about you and momma love
