Brilliant here in Norfolk at 21.55. Just been up the garden with my binos... ..very clear night lots of stars.
Watching it here in Suffolk. Brilliant.
And here in Lincolnshire. Just a little sliver left to go now.
"Full moon....half moon....total eclipse!"

well, very nearly... =)
teeny bit of silver left, red glow round the moon, we had an excellent view.
Very weird now......it's like a reddy ball hanging in the sky - dark, but still luminous. I don't remember seeing this the last lunar eclipse. Amazing. Any pics, anyone?
We got loads of Pictures - Don't know how good they are though. :-)

Beautiful in Middlesbrough (NE England) and I saw a shooting star which made it even more special
jaffa cakes...lol
i was wondering what the deal was so i went on the net.
lovely!
had a great view here at Milton Keynes as well.
Why does is look red though?
. . . although the Moon was completely within the Earth's shadow, the Moon was still illuminated by the glow of Earth's atmosphere. Blue light scatters away leaving more of the longer red wavelengths of the Sun's light that penetrate a greater cross section of the atmosphere to illuminate the Moon.

It was good here, too (just south of Brussels). When there was just a sliver of white left at the top, looking at it through binoculars gave a fascinating impression of three dimensions.
Great view, it got really red, through binoculars at it's height. Well worth waiting up for. Because it darkened the moon the rest of the stars shewed up really well. We were on the civilised side of the Tees from Middlesbrough.
Great view from the east of Scotland. A couple of minutes of high hazy cloud from time to time didn't detract from the spectacle. Agree about the 3D effect, especially as the shadow started to clear the moon. This was remarked upon by several friends who were watching with me.
Not a great view, but I saw it in Austria, as the clouds where moving in and out of view!
