i have got a male and female muscovy and the male keeps forcing him self on my little daffy who is a white cambell duck just wondering will he hurt her and should i keep them split up and if so for how long?

In my experience male ducks are simply very randy and will have a bash at anything with feathers.
I grew up on a farm and our male muscovy (Arthur) used to spend his days chasing his muscovy wives, our little mallards including Mr Mallard and our bantam chickens. The only thing he didn't go for was Roy our humungous cockerel. He really wasn't that sort of boy.

I do admit that it is quite worrying to watch as it is rather frenzied but I don't think he'll hurt her.

thankyou drchasuble your right it is very sad too see but i have put them back in together tonight so ill see how i get on ,thing is i live in a very quiet street so i hear everything
