my cairn terrier's feet

well, this may sound funny but my 8 month old cairn terrier walks like a ballerina. His feet are turned out like one! It doesn't seem to bother him now, but we are afraid that it will bother him in the future. Is this a deformity? What should we do?

You need to take your dog to the vet and get it checked, it doesn't sound very good.

ive got a little girl cairn and she bounces around like a ballerina but her feet are straight. ghood luck. georgie is 2yrs 6months and has been nothing but fun fun fun. she does like to run up and down the gardent barking thank god the neighbours dont complain

I thought I would tell you guys that his feet only turn outward when he stands still. They seem to be straight when he jumps and walks and runs. Thankx : )
