My dog is very insecure

When I take my dog for a walk alone she really enjoys herself and runs about all over the place. However, if someone else is with me she refuses to run about and just clings by my side. Its not just me that she clings to - if my husband is on his own with her she's fine, but if we walk her together she refuses to run about.

Any idea why she does this and what I can do about it?

Let someone else take her for a walk and stay at home.

I agree that she is just being protective. If she needs to get some exercise let the ther person hold her on the lead while you run ahead then get them to let her off and she will run to you. Either that or run with her anyway. Then you will both get exercise!
that is sooooo sweet. give her a pat from me.
