A friend has asked me to find the words of a poem she partially recalls regarding the cuckoo. All she can remember is:


and then in June doth change his tune... and in August flies away.

the cookoo comes in april


sings his song in may


in the middle of june


he alters his tune


and in july he flies away

Our last line was


And then he flies away
