cats tail

cat just had the snip(male,year old)just after he has developed a bald patch on his tail....which looks quite sore...any ideas?

because your cats tail has been cut of, the skin around that area shall no longer grow hair this is perfectally normall. E.g i suffeured from a large laceration (cut needing stiches) last year and the skin around it has no longer grown any hair etc. however if the skin looks saw and infected contact your vet.

it will look sore for a while but as the cat licks it and after time it should look a little better.
