In found website that has prepared Q&A about that film, it mentions the Tarantula, but it doesn't say what type, if you want the web address, post back.

Sorry, the link never worked, I double checked it, but if you just go onto www.funtrivia.com you should be able to find it.
I think it might have been a Mexican red knee (brachyplema smithi) just like Ron from the really wild show but I can't remember what the one in the film really looked like its been a long time since I saw it

i thought that too at first but i seen a screen shot on the net and it doesnt have any of the marking or colour that a B. smithi would have at that size, i was thinking

as i was saying i think it looks more like a G. rosea.


but i cant find any proof of this

im 100% positive its a chielean rose hair
