Is this any better, josaphine? xx

Frontline Spray is a Prescription Only Medicine. You can get other Frontline products (such as the Spot On) from the internet, but the Spray has to be got with a prescription.

You can ask your vet for a prescription and get it from Canine Chemists or Vet-Medic Pharmacy. They are cheaper, but your vet may charge you for a consultation(he cannot charge you for the prescription). Check their prices first.

Canine Chemist: www.hyperdrug.com

Vet-Medic Pharmacy tel: 0800 387348

You can buy it in from abroad. I got a 6 month supply from Australia through ebay, and saved a fortune. x
Yes but this is the Spot On, isn't it? The spray works much better and you can't buy it online AFAIK.

I phoned the vet to ask for a prescription so i could buy it cheaper on line, Even though they had seen the cat 8 weeks earlier they wanted me to pay for a consaltation fee ( how crafty can you get ) so i just went and bought it from her instead,

I love my animals but unfortunately my circumstances have changed and money is tight, but they are my responsibility and they come first, This is meant to be a country of animal lovers but sometimes why do i feel that the vets just grab every little penny you have!!!

You can imagine how much I'm haveing to pay for frontline spray for my horse who has a tick infestation??!!
Don't know where you are but it's very cheap in France.

josaphine32, On the whole veterinary medicine is private, no NHS for animals. Vets are not money grabbers they are sick of people like you who can't afford to keep their animals properly.

Try going to the supermarket and telling them you can't afford to pay-bread and milk on credit, I don't think so!

Debts at our 'money grabbing' practice are now at 7 grand!!!

your practice is obviously not as well run as the one I go to....

www.hyperdrug.com are great - after reading your question yesterday I ordered six pipettes - they were 17.59 instead of around 25.00 from my vet. And delivery was today !!
