For a while now ive been on a high protein diet and have been taking a creatine esther supplement (2.5g) every day. I was just wondering if it was normal to at least once a week spend a considerable amount of time in a day on the toilet. I wouldn't mind so much but yesterday i nearly got caught short (much to the other halfs enjoyment) whilst looking around local car boot. Has anyone else had this at all?

There is alot of conterversy about high protein diets and using creatine... You should talk to your DR or a dietitian. Remember everything in moderation! To much protein will for sure cause things to happen..

and as for creatine our bodys produce enough of it.. you dont need to take more of it.... When your taking a creatine supplement its not natural so your body does not no how to brake it down and use it... so instead it gives your liver a run for its money and makes parts of your body work really hard just to get the creatine out..

People who push the sales of creatine are people who dont understand how we produce our own and understand what damage supplements can do... The only supplement I would ever recomend would be water.. and lots of it!!... the more you drink the less you retain and the better your body will work...

GOOD LUCK !!! jen

P.S And remember to much protein will turn to fat!!! and cause's your tummy to get puffy. You can get enough from a couple chicken breasts a day... Just because your smashing weights doesnt mean you need more protein..
