Without doubt it is, for the most part, nicer now. Threads will still be hijacked and there are still the wind-up merchants in News or those who simply post to contradict what their perceived enemy says or derail your threads with their underhanded digs but that's sadly human nature and will never go away.

Good morning, here I am bright eyed and bushy tailed ready to have a super Saturday, it’s a long time since I went out to our local village on a Friday night, when I used to there always be people you knew there but there was very few, I think peoples drinking habits are changing , people seem to go out early and come home earlier , I dipped my toe into my past girly nights out last night, it’ll be a long time before doing it again :0)))

Ah me too , we decide to do the ‘walk’ we used to years back by starting at the one end of Front Street and having a drink in each bar, there’s just 4 and a small hotel where the 70th birthday was being held and we’d missed on bar out , got to the hotel about 8-15 and we left around 9-30 for a bus home as I didn’t want to get the crazy bus later ,especially on a Friday night, that’s what I meant by my last nights post Friday night on here was usually ‘ Wild West style’ not anymore thankfully and have to add, A-H was so sweet , thanks Andy :0)
