Can anybody help, we have a female that was spayed 7 years ago and we have just got a 14 month old male. we only got him on Sunday but today he is chasing her around, chattering, sniffing and pawing her, he just won't leave her alone. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Have him spayed.
Ditto.
Take him for 'the snip'.
Have they only known each other 3 days? He is still young and learning, and hopefully, she will put him straight if he misunderstands. I would let them get used to each other for a while first, and only worry if there was outright hatred at this point.
I would separate them to give her a break and just walk them together so you have control over him until he gets used to being around her. Its not fair to her to let him pester her. Its very early days so give them a chance to get to know each other but on your terms.
it's not her - he's feeling his oats. He needs castrating and even then it will be a week or two before the hormones ease off. Separate them to give her a rest. We had just the same experience with a new, young dog and an older, spayed b*i*tch.
