Try googling "famous cats" Lucifer and you'll get the answer
Cardinal Richilieu
I didn't get this one, my partner did. Wasn't there a cat question last quiz or the the one before? This is what I should have done, Google "cat" with an adjective in front of cat. Think what adjective would be appropriate. This will probably work best or you could start thinking of famous men of the era but I would try the cat thing first.

Cardinal Richelieu. Click here and scroll down to 'Lucifer'.

Aw for goodness' sake! None of the answers above mine were there when I started typing!

Hello - why did I spend so long looking for it when I could have just asked someone else!?

At least you can spell quizmonster

Thanks folks.
Barender , sorry if you're a tad upset. I HAVE spent ages looking for this one. Only combination of words i hadn't used was 'famous cats'.
At least I was honest enough to say it was a quizmail Q, and waited till only 5 days to go.
Will look up the reference now.
Please excuse my interjection, but I'm sure barender wasn't upset, I took his-her response to be a bit tongue in cheek
Yes it was geo0939!
I found the answer through a Cunning Plan - think of a famous 17th cent. Frenchman known by a title rather than surname - susprise surprise it was the most famous and the first one I tried! (TIC!)
