Sally passed away in the early hours of this morning. I expected it sooner rather than later, but felt so scared last night when I knew she was hours away from dying.
Run free my gorgeous girl...have lots of zoomies in heaven.

Sorry for your loss too, Zacs. So painful.
So so sorry xx
Thanks, N.
I am so sorry for your loss. Losing a beloved pet is always very hard but one can only take comfort in the fact they had a good life, and in your dogs case, a peaceful death. I don't give hugs but I send you positive thoughts and the strength to cope with the next few weeks . Its always hard when they first leave us......
pasta's grief must be so much more acute as i believe sally was no where near her allotted span (a nasty virus I believe?).
Pasta, I’m so sorry.

So sorry to hear of Zac, zacsmaster x
Sally was 11.5 years. Too young, but in the middle of her 10 to 12 year expectancy for a sighthound.
I can't see through the tears. To lose both of my furry friends in 5 weeks is too much. It's too silent and feels so empty.
Thank you for all your kind thoughts.
Pets literally are part of the family. My last cat died so unexpectedly last year and I was devastated. She waited till we got in and would literally leap on our laps on the sofa and purr away, head butting us all eve lol.
Am so so sorry for your loss x
I didn't realise you'd lost two. That must be almost unbearable. Big hugs.

The other furry friend was my big deaf cat, Caspar. His death was unexpected...I thought he would get very old as he was full of beans. He was a bit short of 13.
Xx
Pasta and Zac, I am so sorry to hear of your loss.
Thanks, Tilly.
Pasta I lost my cat Bobbie on 12th August and my dog Maxie on 29th August so I know what it's like. I swear I could hear them moving about for weeks afterwards. Big cyber hug. xx
Oh dear I've just noticed your loss Zacs, I'm so sorry. Love that name by the way. xx
Thanks LB. Border Collies should always have single syllable names ;-)
Zacs /LB , sorry for your losses too x

It's dreadful, isn't it lb?
I kept seeing white feathers after caspar went...and I try not to believe in that stuff.
I keep thinking I have to get cat food...and now I have a load of puppy pads...
So sorry for your loss
Sad for you, losing them will always be the price we pay for loving them. Enough to know we give them the best possible lives however short and they love us in return.
