my husband is of the "have one dog, might as well have 3" school, however, we did have three and it was too much

If you are thinking of getting two from the same litter then it is a NO NO! life would be hell!!

They are big lovely dogs, they take a lot of looking after and a lot of grooming.

Twice as much poo to pick up! Apart from double drool, double bathing and drying and eight muddy feet. Double the cost of boarding if you go away, and you may have to have two separate kennels. If you get another bitch you could find they don't get on. If you get a male you will have to be careful if she is not spayed. If she is spayed I would suggest getting a male. Much harder to walk two big dogs together too. But who am I to tell you - I have down to just five dogs now.

will be nice company for the dog you already have, contact Battersea and see if you can take a rescue, even if they don't have one they will contact you when they do.

I own two giant dogs in the shape of my Great Danes Sam and Lola.

If you can afford it [food, grooming, insurance] then go for it. Best thing I have ever done was getting Lola a same sized friend to play with.

I don't know much about that particular breed, but in my opinion, dogs are pack animals and happier with a canine companion. It's easier to have an older one and then a puppy, than getting two puppies together. Your decision, though x

I love Leos, there's a lady in my area that breeds them, you can often see her husband sat outside a cafe in the high road with up to 6 of them at a time!

I'm in Essex, near Epping. I don't know them personally but have had many a chat with the husband but I think it's the wife that breeds them. I know she shows them too, often at Crufts.
