Spiders and and live non flying insects but if you put spiders in be careful that the body of the spider is smaller than the head of the gecko as it could choke. Crickets are still the best option though. Don't try to feed it anything dead as it will only eat live food.

Get crickets from your local pet shop and make sure you feed the crickets before you feed them to the Geckos so they get good vitamins etc. Crickets eat salad/fruit/fishflakes most leftovers you can also dust crickets in calcium powder before giving them to the Geckos

dont feed your gecko any thing you find around the house, they could be covered in insectosides or pestosides. crickets only cost a couple of pounds from reptile shops or even on the internet. and 1 box can last you for over a week.

Sorry i dont know anything that they could eat at home but try and find a local pet shop that sells mealworms... here is a useful website that can help u with feeding your gecko and other questions... xXx
