I've been scared of them since the boys used to put them down your back on the way home from school! And they're just flying spiders! Oh Sugar, I hate spiders too!

We have a second fridge freezer in our garage, as the fridge in our kitchen is tiny and pathetic.

Yesterday an enormous spider came out from underneath it, then slowly reversed back underneath it.

Slowly, but surely, it draws its plans against us.

They still eat flies. Flies are the dirty feckers that puke on your food.

Have loads of daddy long legs in the house at the moment. I just leave them be.

I would not be unhappy if every wasp was wiped of the face of the earth now.
Even pictures of the damn things make me heave with fear.

Daddy Long Legs are a vital source of food for our songbirds. Wasps in summer kill a lot of garden pests. It is only in the late summer and autumn that they get drunk on rotten fruit and start stinging for the fun of it.
