I hope and pray that he made a good escape and found some safety.
Wow, thats unbelievable that the lion took him under his wing x

Err... it was a leopard. And at the end the narrator says "it is the night that finally got to the baby" or similar, meaning that the baboon died during the night, probably through lack of milk.
