i read recently that the male swan is the only bird that has a willy, but my friend , who keeps ducks says that they do aswell, what is the truth. please do not use any words that could be deamed obscene when answering

I dont think its right about the male swan being the only one.

The reason is i used to know someone who used to 'sex' turkeys and he definitely says they have willies tooooooo!

I would imagine all  male birds have 'willies' of some description, otherwise how would they the eggs before they are laid?!

I think they are retractablet I bet an industrious googler could get us the full story.

It seems that most birds don't have penises, and that fertilisation occurs by close contact of the genital openings.

However many waterfowl (ducks, swans etc), ostriches and penguins do have a penis-like organ, though I don't think is considered to be a true penis, more like an enlarged 'duct' to assist transferrance of sperm to the female.
