My 12 yr old Norfolk terrier walks fine around the house and garden but frequently limps (nearside front) and even occasionally stumbles when on a proper walkies. Mentioned it to vet at annual checkup and was told it was probably age related as nothing obviously wrong. Thinking of adding a supplement to feed. There are loads out there but which actually work? Any actual experiences and recommendations would be appreciated.

Cortaflex is excellent http://www.caninecort...IaB2LACFY5pfAodECGczg and Amazon often sell it cheaper ... have used it for dogs and horses - and it always helped. There is a human version too.
My dog has got like this recently, I'm going to try him on glucosamine and chrondroitin.
Yumove by Yumega. You could also try a Bioflow collar.
Another vote for Yumove from me.
i I always gave my dogs a cod liver oil capsule every day.
does anyone know of a good equivalent for cats I could try?
My dog has a Seatone every day (in his dinner). It's extract of green lipped muscle and is excellent for joints. Buy from Health Shop.
Yumove is suitable for cats too, but as its a tablet you might prefer to use a liquid version on the food.
There is a human version of Yumove too!

I feel that this is rather offhanded and perhaps another Vet's opinion is warranted.
