I was just phoned by my hysterical sister, after getting her to calm down and relax she then told me that something horrible had happened.
Two months ago several sheep had been found slaughtered and butchered and in bits by the lake and this was blamed on wolves though no evidence was ever found and wolves are neither big enough or strong enough to do that kind of damage. There used to be many fish in this lake but all the fish seem to have disappeared and no one knows why.
Tonight my sister said she was sitting outside on her patio in the dark with the lights on in her conservatory and noticed her dog barking at the lake she assumed that the dog may have been barking at a fish or other water creature when suddenly something came out of the water clamped it's jaws around the yelping dog and took the dog to the bottom of the lake and her dog was a large 18 stone rotveiler so whatever took it was substancially larger. I've told her to phone the police but as she's had mental problems in the past she doesn't want to get sectioned again.Im going to see her with a few friends, some traps and our guns (All legally held) and we're going to stakeout the lake to get to the bottom of this has anyone got any idea what it was or how it got into the lake?

Starbuck, that is what I mean, why bother suspending someone when we can have so much fun?
they don't look suspended to me.. surprisingly!
are you sure it's your sister who has the problems?
It's probably the ferocious very cold-blooded animal known as el lagarto. It travels very quickly, has an armour-plated covering and builds its nest under the water. That's where you'll find your friend's Rottie.
I like wolves - gifthorse please come back and tell me where they are.
Have you considered that it might be the Loch Ness Monster?
ed doesn't always remove the thread tenrec, especially if he can see we are having fun with it. Just suspends the perpetrator.
Definitely el legarto. I think that's what happened to Shergar.
I see Starbuck, thanks
And Lord Lucan
Naw Boxie, he/she is an amiable old "each uisge" or water horse. Think of all the nutters he could have devoured over the years, people with nothing better to do than go looking for him.
My vote...

Sticklebacks probably.
excuse me for shouting, I'm obviously using invisible ink or summat.

THEY'RE NOT SUSPENDED!
Sara, if your comment was for me, I did not think anyone was suspended.
Sorry sis...crocodile then.
An 18st Rottweiler? Disgraceful.
Wolves.....wolves not big enough to rip up sheep? This must be the land of the wuss-wolf then?
Fab story, tell more....oooh, I know, you go round there with your homies but the house is empty with all the lights on and the oorto the lake wide open....so you split up to search the area and one by one there is a scream......
All a bit scary.
Fe, Fi, fo Fum!
