help! I have what I think is a fungal infection.

I touched what I think is fungus, but it wasn't flat. It looked like a bunch of really small white chocolates. It was on the bark of a fallen tree. My fingers started tingling/burning, and then it spread to both of my hands. Now it is up to my shoulder. Help!!!
