It was sweet for a while, then i got bit bored, sorry- rather long innit? And that song! Urgh, had to mute that, lol.
Me too BOO............I got bored after about 3 mins.....what happened....did the dog fall into the sea and be rescued by the dolphin?
11 mins, far too long, i think i´ll skip it

You missed the best bits!
Carakeel and myself watched it to the end, very sweet :-)
Well I watched it right through because the dog is just so loveable. And the music took me right back to the early 70's and being in Greece with my lovely Mr LL (Demis Roussos) and I loved the music. But I hate the thought of performing dolphins being in a tank and entertaining humans (which those in the film obviously were)

Thanks lankeela. For the dog and the memories x
For BOO!!

biggest load of contrived twaddle I've ever seen - utter rubbish and I wonder at the conditions the animals used for this were kept.
Well I enjoyed it, sentimental twaddle or not! I thought that it was lovely, if a bit long. although I couldn't work out who the dog actually belonged to, not being fluent in ??
Oh dear ! I was ok until 6' 50".
That hasn't happened for a long time - brought it all back to me, I used to bawl at the end of Skippy, Flipper and Belle And Sebastien.
Damn you !
Lighten up rsvp.
I'm quite 'lightened up' ap - just informed
This was compiled from clips from the film "zeus and roxanne" which was made in 1997 (MGM production). I'd be interested to know how well are you 'informed' of MGM's policies on animal welfare/handling.
what happened at 6.50 AP?
i was watching it, and it stopped playing just at that point, saying there was an error and please could i try later lol ...
What a load of schalzy crap...
it was a bit cheesy, yes .. lol
The directed tricks the dophins did were not natural (the movements were natural but how they happened were not) - this suggested that the filming was contrived - the dog was great but unlikely to have formed a bond with the fish -has any one translated the sub titles? suggest they were not profound. A very touching story but not likely to be true - this is answerbank - and my answer stands.
"unlikely to have formed a bond with the fish" ?
So you are 'informed' up to the point where you don't know the difference between a fish and a cetacean then - brilliant.

So it's 'contrived' and *schmaltzy* (tut tut Mark) big deal !
If you can't just accept it for what it is, why not just ignore it and let the rest of us sad f*ckers who still have some aimless sentimentality have our moment ?

(Loooby, the film was fine - I crumbled at 6.50 !)
yeah, but i was asking what happened at 6.50!..when you crumbled! lol ....
Do I have to spell it out ? I blubbed - like a baby, snot tears, dribble - the lot!
