Two of my three gorgeous girls (who are sods) are fantastic birds and lay me a lovely egg almost every day. The third one however is not putting on any weight, nor has her crest or wattles grown. In all other respects though, she looks perfectly healthy and runs round the garden like a loon. I've wormed them and treated them for red mites and lice (regular treatment as well).

Someone has suggested colloid silver may help her. Has anyone had any experience of use this on poulty? Is it safe? I've read opposing views on other forums.

Its very safe when used on people or small animals, so I would have thought its ok on birds. You can even drink it with no harm or put it on cuts etc.
Complete waste of time and money. You may as well dose her with tap water!
Contact Neil from UK Collodial Silver, he is very helpful, and will be able to answer any questions you have.
