Hi ABers I read this evening that ordinary poly wool, as used for stuffing pillows, art and craft projects etc is suitable for replacing the expensive similar type of media in an aquarium filter. Can this be correct? Obviously I don't want to go out and buy 5 metres of pillowy poison for my aquarium, but I would like to save a few quid LOL!
TIA

Hi, yep it will be fine....and a hell of a lot cheaper! Just give it a good rinse before you use it.
